Seven gauges that settle a joyagoo order
Each gauge takes a small number of inputs and returns a number you can act on. Nothing here talks to a server: the arithmetic runs in the page, so the result updates as you type.
JoyaGoo landed cost calculator: the GBP total before the parcel moves
Turn item price, platform fee, domestic freight and the line charge into one GBP total, at a rate you control.
Formula: total GBP = item price × rate + (item price × rate + domestic freight × rate) × service fee% + domestic freight × rate + [first-kg fee + max(0, chargeable kg − 1) × per-extra-kg] + add-ons − coupon − credits; biggest share = largest positive line ÷ total
Chargeable weight: actual, volumetric and which one the line bills
Compare scale weight with dimensional weight at three divisors and see which figure sets what you are charged for.
Formula: raw volumetric kg = L(cm) × W(cm) × H(cm) ÷ divisor; volumetric kg = ceil(raw ÷ 0.5) × 0.5; chargeable kg = max(volumetric kg, ceil(actual kg ÷ 0.5) × 0.5); gap kg = chargeable kg − ceil(actual kg ÷ 0.5) × 0.5; gap % = gap kg ÷ chargeable kg × 100; driver = volumetric kg > actual kg ? volumetric : actual kg > volumetric kg ? actual : equal
Shipping bands: the bracket your parcel lands in and the cost of the next one
Look up the recorded fee for a chargeable weight and find the exact kilogram that pushes you into the next bracket.
Formula: band = the row where kg > fromKg and kg ≤ toKg; fee = that row, in GBP; nextTriggerKg = next row fromKg; nextDelta = next row fee − current fee; no matching row → unverified, no interpolation
Parcel consolidation: does merging two orders into one box save money
Compare two separate parcels with one merged parcel, using each chargeable weight and the fee the merge adds.
Formula: chargeable(X) = ceil(max(actual kg, volumetric kg) ÷ 0.5) × 0.5; cost(X) = first-kg fee + max(0, chargeable − 1) × per-extra-kg + handling; Δ = cost(A) + cost(B) − [first-kg fee + max(0, chargeable(merged) − 1) × per-extra-kg + handling + merge fee]; Δ > 0 → the merge pays
QC scorecard: five photo checks turned into ship, ask or return
Score five QC positions, weight the risky ones, and get the exact questions to send before a parcel leaves.
Formula: score% = Σ(position score × weight) ÷ Σ weight × 100, where Pass = 1, Ask = 0.5, Return = 0; weights: main photo 1.0, label 0.8, stitching 1.2, hardware 1.2, sole 1.0; band: 85% and above ship, 60–84.9% ask, below 60% return
Exit cost: what a cancelled order returns and what it has already spent
Split a paid order into the money that returns and the money already spent, down to the last reversible state.
Formula: lost = 6% service fee on the amount paid + domestic freight CNY × rate + (QC used ? 2.50 : 0) + (state is packed or shipped ? packing fee : 0) + max(0, storage days − free days) × daily storage fee; recoverable = max(0, paid − lost); shipped → recoverable 0 and lost = paid
Transit estimator: door-to-door days from our own parcel records
Add warehouse days, the recorded median and the last mile into one arrival window, or a range when records are thin.
Formula: median = middle value of the recorded day counts, or the mean of the two middle values when the count is even; × 1.25 when the peak flag is set; low = fastest record × factor; high = slowest record × factor; door to door = warehouse days + median + last-mile days; fewer than three records → no median, range only
