QC positions we watch on Loongbuy parcels

  1. Front rise and inseam on trousers, measured from the crotch seam to the hem on the flat garment rather than on a hanger.
  2. Seat seam stress points, which show as a bright thinning patch at the join long before a thread actually breaks.
  3. Hem allowance and side seam alignment on jersey pieces, checked at both sides because a twisted side seam reads at the hem.

Field notes

Rule of thumb from the recorded tier table: the 0.5 kg steps around 1 kg and 2 kg are where a pair of denim trousers moves the figure most, because bottoms run 300–650 g and stack without compressing.

Jersey is the easy half of this agent’s mix. Single jersey folds almost flat, so several pieces add mass without adding much volume to the parcel.

Denim is the harder half. Two pairs fit a carton comfortably, and a third usually pushes the parcel over a step that nothing else in the order would have reached.

A fit question that comes up repeatedly: whether to move up a size in trousers. Measure the waistband relaxed and then pulled flat, and treat the difference between the two figures as the real allowance.
